The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine published an operational report from the front as of 18:00 on February 25. It is reported that Russian troops are advancing in five directions, shelling the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions.

The main statement from the command:
- During the day, the enemy inflicted six missile and five air strikes, the Russians carried out 10 attacks from the MLRS.
- The fighting took place near Masyutovka, Nevsky, Belogorovka, Sporeny, Fedorovka and Serebryansky forestry (Kupyanskoye and Limanskoye directions), Orekhovo-Vasilyevka, Berkhovka, Ivanovsky and Northern (Bakhmutsky direction), Avdeevka, Vodyanoye, Pervomaisky, Maryinka, Novomikhailovka (Avdeevskoye and Miners directions ).
- On the Zaporozhye and Kherson directions, the enemy limited himself to artillery fire.
- Ukrainian aviation worked in four areas of accumulation of manpower and equipment of Russians. In addition, the rocket troops hit a radar station and an electronic warfare station with two strikes.
