Doha: Charge d’Affaires at the Embassy of Serbia in Qatar, H E Slobodan Radeka, congratulated the State of Qatar, its leadership, and its people on the occasion of Qatar National Day, praising its coincidence this year with the hosting of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
In an exclusive statement to QNA, he said, “It is a real privilege to live in Doha and to be a witness of it.” Confirming the wise strategic policy of Qatar in linking national and global events, this shows the depth of the strategic planning of the esteemed Qatari authorities, he said.
The Charge d’Affaires described this year’s slogan “Our Unity is our Strength” as wonderful. “His Highness, once again, and as always, confirms the prudency and strength of his leadership by saying these meaningful words and remarks,” the envoy said.
The overall progress of Qatar shows that, in practice, it is very united and strong. These wise words and mentioned slogan can be applied in many other countries because without unity there can be no development and progress in the state and society of any country, he added.

Radeka praised the march of bilateral relations between his country and Qatar. “The relations between Serbia and Qatar are very good and we are partners in many different areas and fields. Relations can always develop and deepen additionally in various areas and the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in the State of Qatar is always ready to give its maximal contribution in this regard,” he explained.
