In the government, the president says, he would like to see representatives of all political parties representing minority peoples in Montenegro.

The President of Montenegro, Jakov Milatović, announced today in Berane that he will schedule formal talks with all political entities next week in order to give a mandate to the mandate holder for the composition of the new government already in August, reports Tanjug, referring to local media.

“I think I will do it in a decent time,” Milatović told reporters.

In the government, he says, he would like to see representatives of all political parties representing minority peoples in Montenegro.

“I welcome the negotiations and it seems to me that it is a good intention of the political subjects to go for the largest possible government. This is a good thing for Montenegro. I always talk about the government in terms of principle and principle, and for me as president it is important that the government be pro-European and that it be stable”, he stated.

Representatives of the Serbian people

When asked if he would like to see representatives of the Serbian people in the government, Milatović replied that he did not want to say who could be in the government and who could not.

“There should be as many subjects as possible in the government in order to make it stronger, but not at the expense of principles, programs and priorities,” Montenegrin President Milatović concluded, the Adria TV portal from Podgorica reported Tanjug.
