Lukashenka leaves for Beijing to meet with Xi Jinping

Against the backdrop of China’s initiatives on Ukraine, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko is leaving for Beijing. He will spend three days there – from February 28 to March 2 – and meet with Xi Jinping.

This was reported in the press service of the Belarusian President.

Lukashenka will hold meetings with the chairman of the Communist Party of China in narrow and expanded formats.

The day before, the Belarusian president gave an interview to the Chinese media, in which he called for listening to Beijing’s peace plan for Ukraine.

The day before, Wang Yi, a member of the PRC Politburo, came to Moscow to discuss Xi Jinping’s visit to Russia with Putin . Also, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced his intention to meet with the Great Pilot of China Xi Jinping .
